2-16 oz cans cream of chicken soup
2-4 chicken breasts or 4-6 chicken thighs
Whatever veggies you like
Pasta -- I always try to buy the homemade kind, the kind I used this time was Trader Joe's egg papperdalle
Sour cream
You can kind of combine it however you want. My mom cooks it all on the stovetop. I like to cook the chicken in the broth in the crockpot for 3-4 hours on high or 6-8 on low. Then I cook the pasta according to the directions on the package and add it to the chicken and broth. I also add the veggies and cream of chicken at this time. Then I let it heat through on low for another 1-2 hours. My mom adds a whole 16 oz container of sour cream after it is heated through, but I usually just add a few spoonfuls to my own bowl as I'm eating it because I think it keeps better that way
